The Bishop of Sheffield has appointed six new honorary canons for the Cathedral.

The new canons are: the Revd Dr Paul Shackerley, soon to be Vicar of Doncaster Minister; the Revd Jane Bolton, Rector of Dinnington with Laughton and Throapham and Area Dean of Laughton; the Revd Mark Wigglesworth, Vicar of Askern and Area Dean of Adwick; the Revd Keith Hale, Rector of Tankersley, Thurgoland and Wortley and Area Dean of Tankersley; the Revd Richard Parker, Vicar of Hoyland and Dean of the Hickleton Chapter; and the Revd Chris Barley, Vicar of Swinton and Diocesan Chaplain of the Mothers' Union.
